Training in Algarve Wines
Come and discover more about the wines of this growing region!
The training is in person and is divided into 1 in-person session, theoretical and practical (wine tasting), lasting 8 hours.
The main topics related to history, production methods, terroir (soil and climate), different styles and types of wines, analysis of a wine will be covered.
In the practical component, trainees taste different types of Algarve wine and learn how to taste and analyze wine styles, the diversity of these types and the practicality of adapting at practically every moment.

Program:
• History of Wine in the Algarve;
• Terroir (climate and soil);
• Main White and Red Varieties in the region (national, local and international);
• Production Methods, Wine Styles (Sparkling, white, rosé, red and fortified);
• How to taste/taste like a professional (see, smell, taste and comment);
• Tasting 10 different wines from the Algarve.
- Possibility of visiting a local winery (amount charged separately for the visit to the winery, with a great discount for students at our school);
